2017 Marks our 14th year of providing an unexpected Christmas to children in Rutherford County. “Help us Help” began in Christmas 2003 as an employee initiative at Rumbling Bald Resort on Lake Lure. Our simple goal was to provide Christmas presents for one child in Rutherford County, a child who for whatever reason was in the care of Social Services and would not be able to celebrate a traditional family Christmas. Each year since we’ve grown and expanded the number of children we are able to help. In 2016 we were able to sponsor 20 children, and we hope to exceed that number again. Our primary fund raising event is the 2017 “Help us Help” Golf Tournament held on Saturday, November 11th at noon at the Bald Mountain Golf Course. “Help us Help” remains a simple, local volunteer initiative led by the employees of Rumbling Bald Resort on Lake Lure.

We volunteer our time to coordinate community resources and raise funds for local children. We need you to “Help us Help”.

When: Saturday, November 11th at noon
Where: Bald Mountain Golf Course

Format: Captain’s Choice Shotgun start Noon. Bald Mountain Golf Course at Rumbling Bald Resort. 4 Person Teams, Captain’s Choice, Low Net and Low Gross. Ladies may play from the Red Tees; Ages 60+ may play from the Yellow Tee; All others play from the White Tees

Cost: $60 per player* includes Golf (with Cart), and Buffet Dinner with Silent Auction and Raffles at The Gardens 4:30 – 7:30pm. Mulligan’s available for $5.00 (limit 2 per player). *Resort Member cost is $45 per player. Current POA card required at registration. P1 $40, P2 $50 and P5 $60

Prizes: Gift Certificates awarded to the Top 3 Teams. 6 Individual Awards Include: Closest to the Pin on all Par 3’s. Two Ladies #2 & #4; Two Men #6 & #12; and One Man, One Lady #16. Individual winners each receive a sleeve of Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls.

Hole Sponsorship: All Hole Sponsors receive an 18” x 24” full color sign to promote their business services and products to players in our tournament along with the opportunity to distribute business literature in tournament registration bags. Cost per hole is $50. Artwork must be submitted to Lori Overstreet no later than October 23rd 2017. Payments can be made directly to Rumbling Bald Resort.
