More Event Information
The Inaugural Golf tournament will be held at historic Gus Wortham Golf Course, the oldest 18- hole golf course in Houston, TX. This beautiful course is nestled in and along Brays Bayou. The tournament will have a shotgun start, with several opportunities for individual prizes including longest drive, closest to the pin, beat-a-pro and a hole-in-one.
Proceeds from all fundraising are used to provide scholarships for current and future students of Morehouse College, where annual tuition is more than $40,000 per student. The scholarships are awarded to qualified Houston area high school seniors and current Morehouse College students. The goal is to assist these students with financially while attending Morehouse College and offset the debt associated with obtaining higher education.
