The DPM Foundation was established by friends and family who wanted to honor the memory of our dearly departed friend, Dustin Miller, who tragically passed away at the age of 25. The DPM Foundation committee has since developed the DPM Memorial Scholarship and works tirelessly to support the educational dreams of deserving local students at Absegami High School who embody the passion Dustin had for arts and sports. Dustin was a standout football player, an aspiring musician, a great teammate, and an even better friend. He was selfless, charismatic, and always enjoyed helping those who were going through struggles. Since the inception of this scholarship, the scholarship committee has been able to award $10,000 in scholarships to applicants.

This year, we are organizing a golf tournament on September 28, 2023 at Harbor Pines Golf Club to commemorate Dustin’s legacy and raise funds for the aforementioned scholarship program. Our goal is to make this scholarship a long lasting tradition at Dustin’s alma mater, Absegami High School. Additionally, funds raised by the tournament and subsequent events will be able to fund future restoration and development projects at places Dustin held dear to his heart, such as the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.

The DPM Foundation is actively seeking donors, sponsors, and participants for the Inaugural DPM Foundation Golf Tournament. The tournament will include participation opportunities for both golfers and non-golfers. Participation in the event for both golfers and non-golfers will include a light lunch, free beverage, and post-event banquet with buffet-style dinner. Details on the event are provided below:

Sponsorship Opportunities:

• Premium Sponsor is $750 and includes one foursome, a sponsored hole with signage, a cart sponsorship, and a logo on all event marketing materials
• Tournament Sponsor is $200 and includes a sponsored hole with signage, a cart sponsorship, and a logo on all event marketing materials
• Golf Cart Sponsor is $150 and includes a logo sponsorship on tournament carts
• Hole Sponsor is $75 and includes a sponsored hole with signage
