More Event Information

Dear Friends of Magical Memories and our late friend Jill Reynolds,
As we here at Wynding Brook Golf Club prepare for our inaugural memorial golf tournament, we are in need of sponsorships and donations to make this event a success. We are reaching out to friends and local businesses throughout the region to help with this endeavor. Would you please consider donating a tax deductible gift to our event to help benefit our chosen organization?
ALL tournament profits go directly to the charity we are assisting this year. The charity is as follows:
MAGICAL MEMORIES
Magical Memories is a non-profit benefiting local children suffering from life threatening and terminal illnesses. Their mission statement “Striving to make Magical Moments and Forever Memories in the lives of children with life threatening and terminal illnesses” is just that. They hold annual events for ill children right here in our own community where they can put their illnesses behind them for a moment in time to just be a kid. Their big event is an annual Holiday extravaganza and they are expanding to do more throughout the year such as family nights, a Knoebels night, and more. Magical Memories became on official non-profit in 2013 but unofficially has been going on since 2007. Jill Reynolds was a strong factor in starting this charity and getting it off of the ground. �
Jill was very dedicated to children who were sick and would do anything she could to make a difference in their lives. She worked at Geisinger Medical Center for over 27 years touching many lives of the children she had contact with.
Jill Reynolds was part owner of Wynding Brook Golf Club and passed away from complications from Alzheimer’s at the age of 58 on June 28, 2014. The Jill Reynolds Magical Memories Memorial Golf Tournament is a tribute to an amazing woman who touched so many children’s lives. Proceeds from this event will benefit Magical Memories and the lives of the children touched in Jill’s honor and memory.
