Kick for Christ is hosting a Golf and Footgolf outing to raise money for the upcoming trips to Haiti and Liberia.

Registration starts at 11:00am. Shot-gun start at 12:00pm. Lunch on the turn. Chicken buffet, silent auction and basket raffle following golf.

More information about Kick for Christ:
Worteh Sampson and Leo Gibson founded Kick for Christ after realizing a need in their home country of Liberia, as well as neighboring countries. These countries lacked supplies such as clothing, shoes, and sports equipment. Sampson and Gibson met while playing for MISL’s Detroit Ignition. Sampson is currently the co-director of Plymouth Reign Soccer Club and Gibson plays for MISL’s Missouri Comets.

Kick for Christ uses soccer to exemplify God’s love to the lives of children. In 2013, Kick For Christ traveled to Liberia to conduct soccer training. They distributed over 9,000 lbs of soccer equipment, clothing, and shoes to the communities they visited. In 2017, Kick For Christ, along with 17 other volunteers, traveled to South Africa to lead soccer camps, distribute donated goods, and help restore churches in need of repairs.

In May 2018, Kick For Christ is traveling to Haiti and partnering with Sante Haiti, a health organization founded by Dr. Jonathan Philippe, to assist under privileged communities in Haiti to receive primary care services, such as blood pressure checks, nutritional education, and access to daily vitamins. Kick for Christ will also be conducting soccer camps to the Haitian communities.
