More Event Information
Like everyone, we have been feeling the impacts of the pandemic on our summer plans. Without travelling, stampede, or other fun gatherings it makes it hard to maintain connections with some of our friends and family. We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting a scramble style tournament to try to bring together all the people we love and haven’t been able to see as often as we usually do! We had talked about this idea for a while and this seemed like the perfect summer to test it out, as we can be together with the important people in our lives while respecting social distancing guidelines. In these discussions we also thought, why not allow this event to benefit our community? Especially in these strange times. So we will be donating all the proceeds to two amazing local organizations, S.T.A.N.D. and the Wheatland and Area Hospice Society!
The fees for this tournament are $600 per team, or $150 per player. This fee covers your round of golf with a power cart, a meal, a donation to the charities, and gives you a chance to win some awesome prizes! We will be accepting cash, cheque, or etransfer. We have also been working to come up with a variety of different themed holes to ensure this tournament has something for everyone! We will be providing more information on the activities closer to the date.
