Since 1981, this annual event has brought community leaders and sports figures together to raise nearly $5 million for a great cause – saving babies from premature birth causing lifelong health problems and disabilities.

Did you know:

Prematurity is the #1 health risk for newborns in the country.

The direct health care costs to employers for a premature baby during the first year of their life averages $54,149, compared to $4,389 for a baby born healthy and at full term.

Nationally, 76 cents of every dollar raised by the March of Dimes directly funds programs, services and research towards giving all babies a healthy start. Your support of the 37th annual event will help fund the March of Dimes mission: to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality through research, awareness, community service and advocacy.
