Lake Huron Foundation’s mission is to deliver compassionate, quality care to patients and better health care to communities. We are committed to providing access to high-quality care for people throughout St. Clair County, regardless of their ability to pay. Lake Huron Foundation, through the People’s Clinic for Better Health, has been providing care to the uninsured and underserved, delivering life-saving care to patients for over 30 years. With your support, we will continue to serve our community for as long as the need is there.

During these unprecedented times, People’s Clinic for Better Health has continued to care for the most vulnerable in our community throughout the COVID-19 crisis. We are seeing our patient numbers increase because many in our community have been laid off and now are either uninsured or on Medicaid due to unemployment. Additionally, expenses incurred to ensure the health and safety of our patients, medical professionals, and community during this crisis have increased and include costs to secure additional labor, personal protective equipment for healthcare providers, and launching a new telehealth platform. People’s Clinic for Better Health remains committed to delivering the highest quality lifesaving medical care to our community.
