The Foster Kidd Foundation dba Pro-Duffers Foundation is a charitable, tax exempt, 501(c) (3) organization. It’s mission is to support and promote the development of self-esteem, academic excellence, character and sportsmanship among young people while learning the game of golf. The Foundation also supports other deserving community organizations and non-profit organizations. The Foster Kidd Foundation awards scholarships to deserving students to attend college and to assist in achieving potential life goals.
The organization has made a public pledge to raise a minimum of $100,000 to continue with its goal to financially support Paul Quinn College in Dallas and The First Tee of Greater Dallas in 2018. Former U.S. Ambassador and Dallas Mayor Ronald “Ron” Kirk will serve as well as Honorary Captain of this year’s Golf Tournament, as well as the Honorary Chair of the other weekend fundraising events that include a charity gala and a jazz brunch.
The legacy awards reception will follow the tournament. Seperate tickets are available for awards reception that will include dinner and entertainment at the golf club.
