More Event Information

Enter The Shawn Thornton Foundation Helicopter Golf Ball Drop for your chance to win $5,000! The drop will take place at 6:00 PM directly before the Putts & Punches Golf Tournament. We will be streaming the drop live on the Shawn Thornton Foundation facebook page.

Anyone can enter this contest and it costs $20 per entry. Please see official rules below.

Helicopter Golf Ball Drop Rules and Regulations

Purchasing a golf ball doesn’t allow you entry into the Shawn Thornton Foundation Putts & Punches Golf Tournament. If you are interested in sponsoring the event please contact Adam Benoit, Contact event using the form below..

The golf balls will be numbered individually and numbers will be assigned based on time of entry. We will email all participants their assigned numbers prior to the drop. We will also post the golf ball numbers on our facebook page.

We will place 2 black golf balls in the bottom of the hole. Whichever golf ball is closest to the pin or the first one to enter the hole will be deemed the winner.

If it is impossible to determine a winner we will randomly select a winner from whichever golf balls are in the hole or are the closest to the hole.

All proceeds from The Shawn Thornton Foundation Helicopter Golf Ball Drop will be benefit The Shawn Thornton Foundation. The Shawn Thornton Foundation is dedicated to helping find cures for diseases close to Shawn’s heart, specifically, Parkinson’s and cancer.
