More Event Information
The NINTH ANNUAL Stone County Home Builders “Built in STONE” golf tournament is conducted annually as a fundraiser to support local student scholarships and worthwhile community activities. The tournament will be held on May 17, 2017 at the Pine Burr Golf Course in Wiggins, Mississippi. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:00 AM, with a 12 Noon shotgun start. The format is a 4-person scramble. Players 65 years and older may play from the senior (red) tees.
Lunch and cold drinks (water, soft drinks and beer) will be provided by the BELLY UP BARBEQUE in Lyman.
Prizes include $10,000 cash for a hole in one on #8 (160 yards). Additional prizes will be awarded for a hole in one on all par 3 holes. A putting contest, consisting of three consecutive putts, is included for all participants, with a $5,000 cash prize offered. Prizes will also be awarded to the closest to the pins on all four par three holes. Professional golfers will not be eligible for cash prizes.
The first place team will be awarded $200, second place $160, and the third place team will earn $120. All team prizes will be in the form of gift certificates.
Hole sponsorships available for $100, or $350 with 4 players.
