Everyone must register for the event through the website.  Our preference is for you to pay using a credit card when you register.  We can only allow for 144 golfers so please register as soon as possible in order to reserve your spot.

The Cause

On April 24, 2013, after only a short four-month battle, a loving wife and wonderful mother, was lost to Cancer.

Susan B. Yoskowitz was a voracious reader, known to finish a book in a day or two.  She enjoyed reading to her grandchildren who cherished those moments as they listened intently while she swept them into whatever fantasy land they were reading about.

Cooking was also a passion.  She was known to whip up a delicious meal with whatever ingredients were in the pantry! Many afternoons she could be found in the kitchen guiding one of her grandchildren through a recipe; chocolate chip cookies, banana pancakes, brisket or meatballs! Of course, chocolate chip cookies were both her and her grandchildren’s favorite!

Unfortunately, in December 2012, Susan was diagnosed with Sarcoma, a rare Cancer accounting for about 1% of all adult Cancers.  Her family did everything they could to try to find her the best treatment.  However, many rare cancers are underfunded, leaving rare cancer patients with limited treatment options. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) is committed to changing that partly through Cycle for Survival.

Cycle for Survival, which is owned and operated by MSKCC, is an event that raises funds for rare Cancer research. The funds raised by Cycle for Survival are allocated for researching effective treatments for rare cancers.  100% of what we raise through the Susan B Yoskowitz Charity Golf Scramble will be donated to Cycle for Survival.
