Please join us for the 5th annual tournament. Price will be $75 per person. Price includes golf, cart, range balls, lunch and beer. We will have raffle prizes, 50-50 raffles, mulligans, and ladies tee off tickets for sale. We will also have prizes for top 3, closest to the home and long drive. The tournament is a 4 person, captains choice contest. We always have a few singles, so if you need players, let me know. As most of you know, this tournament was started in memory of my father, Karl Janowski, who passed away from lung cancer in 2009. The stigma with lung cancer is that only people who smoked are affected by lung cancer. My father was a non-smoker all his life. What most people do not realize is that 60% of new lung cancer diagnosis are with non-smokers or someone who is a former smoker. It is the #1 killer of ALL cancers, and the least funded. It claims more lives than breast, prostate, and colon cancers combined every year and yet it receives less funding than each one individually. The five year survival rate of lung cancer is just 17%, and Free to Breathe’s goal is to double the survival rate by 2022.
