The Temple Church is excited to invite you to a day of golfing and enjoyment at the James H. (Jim) Pierce Golf Tournament benefiting the Scholarship Ministry and other Community Outreach Ministries at Temple! The Tournament is named for Jim Pierce in honor of his support to the church and community, both in terms of his generous financial contributions as well as his extensive volunteer service.  Tournament will be held at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, TN.

In 1993, upon moving to Nashville, Tennessee, Jim joined and became a very active member of Temple Church. His affiliations were many which included the Finance Ministry, Deacon Ministry, Men’s Chorus, Credit Union (Organizer), and Board of Directors for the Samaritan/Project Ministry. At the time of his retirement in 1998, he was the District Manager with United Parcel Service (UPS).  Jim was also an avid golfer and supported many charitable golf benefits. We are very grateful for the continued support of Jim’s family in this tournament.

Please join us for a day you’ll not soon forget! Along with 18 holes of golf (with sponsorship throughout), there will be prizes and gifts for everyone! All golfers will go home winners! There is no better way to support our Church Ministry and have a great day of golf on one of Nashville’s premier golf courses.
