The Laurel Foundation, is now in its 25th year of empowering children and youth affected by HIV/AIDS and in its’ INAUGURAL year of serving trans youth. To continue our year round work serving these vulnerable communities we are hosting our 21st ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT on November 6, 2017 at the prestigious EL CABALLERO COUNTRY CLUB. This event is the Foundation’s most important fundraising event and being that it is our 21st year, we are making it a HUGE celebration!
ABOUT THE EVENT
The Laurel Foundation’s 21st Annual Golf Tournament is one of the organization’s major annual fundraisers and this year will be our biggest and best event ever! Proceeds from the event will help send inner city, at-risk children and youth to The Laurel Foundation’s year round support services. Populations served are youth affected by HIV/AIDS, transgender youth and other at-risk youth populations.
The day is filled with 18 holes of golf, starting with a continental breakfast and hosted drinks by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, One Hope Wine and Long Shot Coffee. Lunch is provided by In-N-Out Burger, drink and food sponsors will be at various holes (e.g. beer, vodka, tequila) skill testing golf contests (putting, longest drive, etc.) with great prizes, and a fully catered after party featuring a Silent and Live Auction and awards show that will include a buffet dinner, hosted bar, and more!
GOLFERS: 100 business executives, political leaders, philanthropists and celebrities, Los Angeles leaders, active in professional and philanthropic communities
THE CHARITY: The Laurel Foundation is a Los Angeles based nonprofit, that provides free year-round support services (resident/day camps, retreats etc.) to low-income, at-risk children, youth, and families affected by HIV/AIDS. The Laurel Foundation relies on donors like YOU to help us support this underserved community and provide them with the tools needed to build independent, productive, successful lives, free from the stigma and isolation associated with this disease.
