The Waltham Open Golf Tournament and Dinner Celebration benefits Healthy Waltham, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation based in Waltham, Massachusetts. Healthy Waltham works to foster a community of wellness in Waltham by increasing access to healthy foods, providing nutrition education and creating opportunities for physical activity. A major initiative of the organization is its twice-monthly food pantry, which sustained thousands of Waltham families throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and continues to provide healthy groceries to up to 700 needy families per pantry.
