Join alumni, friends, and the UMLA board for our 2nd annual Michigan Football Tailgate!
Tailgate start time: 9am-9:30am
Tailgate entry cost: Free
Kick-off time: Noon
Location: Ann Arbor Golf & Outing Club (400 E Stadium Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI 48104)
All cars wishing to caravan to the golf course should plan to meet at 7am at the Briarwood mall outside Sears. Departure from the mall will occur promptly at 7:15 am. Please note if you plan to park your car at the golf course, there is a $50 parking fee.
For those wishing to identify your own parking outside the golf course, please look to
our UMLA Facebook page for details on our location by 9:30am. Please join us for a day filled with free food, networking, and football! Go Blue!

About La Casa
Latinx Alliance for Community Action Support and Advocacy (La Casa) strives to unite, empower, and holistically support members of the Latinx community at the University of Michigan while striving to represent the voice and issues of our community at large.
About SHPE
At the University of Michigan, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) has continued to show support for the Hispanic community by providing resources to assist members during their college career. Such resources include workshops and general body meetings, where various companies speak about career opportunities, provide resume and interviewing skills workshops, and provide students with a better understanding of the opportunities that come with being an engineer. Our chapter has tripled in size since Fall 2010, and we have now set the goal to further expand the membership by Winter 2018. We not only develop as a community within the university, but also try to expand as a “familia.”
