More Event Information
This is the official page of the University of Baltimore Student Bar Association Third Annual Golf Tournament, presented along with the University of Baltimore Students For Public Interest.
This annual tournament will once again be held at the Greystone Golf Course on Friday, April 20th, beginning at 1:00pm. And what better way to enjoy the Spring weather than to hit the links for a good cause!
This year, we decided that the best way that we can better our surrounding community, as soon-to-be legal professionals, is to help the community directly. This year, we have decided to donate a portion of the proceeds made through this event to The Project HEAL.
What Is The Project HEAL?
Project HEAL is Maryland’s only comprehensive medical-legal partnership. A community-based program of the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (MCDD) at Kennedy Krieger Institute, Project HEAL provides comprehensive advocacy and legal services for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Project HEAL attorneys collaborate with Kennedy Krieger faculty, staff, and trainees to ensure that patients receive the medical and legal care they need.
Greystone Golf Course
Designed by Joe Lee, architect of Doral Resort’s famed Blue Monster and the courses at Walt Disney World, Greystone Golf Course is a true masterpiece in layout, challenge and entertainment.
Greystone’s championship course includes 140 feet of elevation changes and features seven ponds and more than 80 bunkers. The tall hardwood trees, wetlands, and native vegetation add an abundance of character to the design. The course offers a rare five par 3’s and five par 5’s creating a fun and different Par 72 adventure.
How Do I Sign Up?
The entry fees are listed below, $125.00 for a single player entry and $500.00 for a foursome entry. If you are entering as a solo player, pair, or threesome please be advised that there will be other players added to your group to make a foursome.
There will be a boxed lunch provided to all golfers, including sandwiches, chips, water, and the like. If you or your firm/company would like to sponsor that lunch and have a banner of your choosing placed at the tables, the cost to sponsor is $1,250.00 and includes the banner for the lunch, a solo tee/hole sponsorship, and a free entry for a foursome.
Throughout the day there will also be bar/snack carts going around the course. The sponsorship package for this is identical to that of the Lunch Sponsorship. It will cost $1,250.00 and the cart will have a banner/flag of your choosing, as well as a free entry of a foursome and one tee/hole sponsorship.
Similarly, the BBQ Dinner that will be provided can also be sponsored for the price of $2,500.00. That will include the same manner as the lunch, but will also include the sponsorship of three tees/holes, as well as the entry of a foursome.
There is also the option for you to sponsor a tee/hole, where you would have a flag with an emblem/logo of your choosing. That option will cost $200.00.
Additional sponsorship opportunities are TBA.
