The Wabtec Veterans Network Golf Tournament will be held April 21, 2023!

What: Wabtec Veterans Network 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Who: Everyone can play in this tournament. It is a best ball format so your skill level will not prevent you from having a great day on the golf course.

How Much: Tickets are $100 per person and includes 18 holes with a Golf Cart, Snack Bag, Free Beer, Drinks, and Dinner

Where: Spessard Holland Golf Course in Melbourne Beach, Florida

When: April 21st, with a 1pm shotgun start, registration begins at 12:00 pm.

Why: This year, all proceeds will go to support two nonprofits, Warrior Misfits and Veterans for Youth Sports.

1. Warrior Misfits is a special Veteran nonprofit in Brevard County. For the last few year’s Wabtec has supported the Misfits annually for their local Holiday Toy Drive. Over the last 10 years, the Warrior Misfits have provided unwrapped toys to over 26,000 kids locally during the holiday season. This is all done on a volunteer basis and thru donations and drop boxes at restaurants, businesses, offices, and other locations. This year Wabtec wants to ramp up our support and our goal is to fill 10 boxes this holiday season!

2. Veterans for Youth Sports. There is a massive coaching shortage in youth sports that veterans can help alleviate. This nonprofit helps place veterans interested in coaching with local youth programs. It also helps subsidize the cost of youth sports to provide easier access to low-income veteran and non-veteran families. A family’s financial situation should not prevent a child from participating in youth sports.

We will have some incredible raffles again this year and the winning team is going to like their prize!
